Stop eating the cost of lost parcels

Coverly puts a “Protect your order” toggle on your cart. Buyers pay a small fee you set — and you keep every cent of it. When something goes missing, they file a claim against their real order instead of opening a chargeback.

Why Coverly

A shipping guarantee you actually run

Not third-party insurance with a middleman taking a cut and a policy you can't read. Coverly is your own promise, priced by you, funded by the fee, and tracked properly.

You keep the whole fee

The protection fee is a normal line on your own order, paid to your own store. No revenue share, no payout schedule, no third party holding your money.

Price it your way

A percentage of the cart with a floor and a ceiling, a flat fee, or price bands. A live table shows exactly what a buyer pays at every cart size before you save.

A real claims inbox

Open, approved, denied, resolved — with the order, the money and the full history on one screen, so you decide in seconds instead of digging through email.

Only real buyers can file

A claim needs the order number and the exact email on that order, inside your claim window, on an order that actually paid for protection. A stranger with a guessed order number gets nothing.

Every protected order, reconciled

We record what the buyer paid and what your rule says they should have. If a discount code ever clips your protection line, you see it — we don't quietly pick a number.

It can't overcharge anyone

Coverly can never set a price at checkout. It adds a product it created at a price your rule chose, so OpoShop always owns the amount charged. That's by design.

How it works

Three steps, then it runs itself

1

Set your fee and your promise

Pick a percentage or a flat amount, say what you'll do when something goes wrong, and switch it on. Coverly adds a few hidden products to your catalogue — one per price — that never show up in your shop.

2

Buyers opt in at the cart

A clean toggle sits by the totals with the exact price on it. Pre-select it or leave it off — either way the shopper can see it and change it before they pay.

3

Handle the rare bad day

A buyer files from your claim page, you see the claim next to the real order, and you re-ship or refund in OpoShop. Coverly keeps the record and tells the buyer where they stand.

On your storefront

A toggle that looks like it came with your theme

One tidy row by the cart totals, in your accent colour, with the price spelled out. Nothing pops up, nothing follows them down the page, and nothing appears if we can't place it properly.

  • Your accent colour, corner radius and font
  • Opt-in or opt-out — your call
  • The fee follows the cart as it changes, and never stacks
  • If anything fails, it renders nothing — never an error on your shop
In your dashboard

Every claim, with the order sitting right next to it

What the buyer said, what they actually bought, what they paid for protection, and everything you've already told them — on one screen, so you can make a call and move on.

  • Open → approved → resolved, with a full history
  • A private notes field and a separate message the buyer sees
  • Buyers check their own claim with a reference — fewer “any update?” emails
  • A ledger of every protected order and what it collected

The costs that used to just disappear

I was replacing two or three parcels a month out of my own pocket and never counting it. Now the fee covers it and I can actually see the number.

The invisible replacement

Lost-parcel messages were coming in on email, Instagram and the contact form. They all land in one place now, with the order attached.

The scattered inbox

Being able to say “here's what we cover” before they buy has stopped the arguments afterwards — and the chargebacks.

FAQ

The questions worth asking

Is this insurance?

No — Coverly is not insurance. It's a tool for running your own shipping guarantee. You set the fee, you keep it, and you decide each claim. There is no insurer, no underwriter and no policy behind it — which is exactly why you keep the money. Describe it to buyers as your store's protection or guarantee, never as insurance.

Does Coverly refund my buyers for me?

No, and it deliberately cannot. Coverly has no access to your money — no card, no balance, no payout. When you approve a claim you re-ship or refund in OpoShop yourself, then record what you did. Coverly keeps the record and tells the buyer where things stand.

How does the fee get onto the order?

Coverly creates its own hidden, unlisted products on your store — one for each price your rule can charge — and adds the right one to the cart. Apps can't set a line price on OpoShop, so the fee is always a real product price your rule chose. It's the only way to do this without a way to overcharge somebody.

Will those hidden products clutter my shop?

No. They're unlisted, so they never appear in your catalogue, search or collections — only in a cart when a shopper asks to be protected. Coverly keeps the list small on purpose and will widen your rounding rather than create dozens of them.

Can someone file a claim on an order that isn't theirs?

They'd need the order number and the exact email address used at checkout, on an order that really paid for protection, inside your claim window. Every failed attempt returns the same generic answer, so the form can't be used to guess at orders or confirm whether an email ever shopped with you, and it's rate-limited on top.

What if I want protection to be opt-in rather than automatic?

One switch. Opt-out (pre-selected) converts far better; opt-in is the more conservative choice. Either way the shopper sees the toggle and the price by their cart totals before they pay, and if Coverly can't place the toggle on your theme, it adds nothing at all.

What does it cost?

Coverly is installed from the OpoShop app store. There's no revenue share on the protection fee — it's a line on your own order, so it lands in your own payout like everything else you sell.

Put a floor under your shipping losses

Set a fee, write your promise, and switch it on. The next lost parcel is already paid for.
